IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - On Saturday, Iowa will host top-ten foe Oregon for one of Kinnick Stadium’s most important games in a decade.
Iowa players say these marquee matchups get them juiced up, but to win, they cannot treat it any differently.
“Obviously it’s a big game. You come to Iowa for these types of games,” said senior wide receiver Jacob Gill. “You gotta treat it like another game, like you’re lining it up and you’re going out to play football.”
Junior defensive back Koen Entringer said the team works year-round for these opportunities.
“We work 365 days out of the year for these 12 games so every game is exciting, but at the same time you have to take every game with the same amount of respect,” said Entringer. “I don’t think the rules have changed in the last two weeks, so I
