The Los Angeles Chargers and New York Jets managed to complete one last transaction before Tuesday’s 4:00 p.m. EST trade deadline.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the New York Jets are acquiring veteran cornerback Ja’Sir Taylor from the Bolts in exchange for a conditional 2028 seventh-round pick. Schefter noted that a physical is pending.
The Jets were the biggest sellers of the 2025 trade deadline, making a pair of stunning blockbuster deals before acquiring Taylor. Earlier in the day, they traded All-Pro cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts and Pro Bowl defensive tackle Quinnen Williams to the Dallas Cowboys.
