Samba : District Development Commissioner Samba Ayushi Sudan presided over a Block Diwas programme Tuesday at Rajpura. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from locals and representatives of the adjoining panchayats.
The DDC listened to a wide range of public grievances and developmental demands, with special focus on agrarian issues, employment, besides education and healthcare facilities. People from adjoining villages raised concerns regarding post-flood damages, drug abuse and sought restoration of water bodies, improvement of drainage, rural infrastructure and better sports facilities as a constructive alternative for youth.
