A POLICE strike force has moved again, arresting a Tamworth man after a raid uncovered suspected stolen guns.
The 46-year-old man was arrested in a coordinated operation by officers at a home on Anthony Road in South Tamworth about midday on Tuesday, November 4.
During the arrest, police claim they seized what they allege to be a small amount of methylamphetamine and cannabis.
The 46-year-old was taken to Tamworth Police Station for questioning and later charged with using, supplying, acquiring or possessing a stolen firearm or part. He is not charged in relation to the drugs.
He was granted bail by police with a number of conditions and ordered to front Tamworth court later this month.
The arrest was triggered after investigations into a raid on a Frank Street property in West Tamwor
