Harmanpreet Kaur’s World Cup win is all set to get a new home – outside the cricket field and onto the walls of a historic fort. The captain of the Indian team, which won its first-ever Women’s ODI World Cup in 2025, will soon have a life-size wax statue installed at Jaipur’s famous Nahargarh Fort. Jaipur Wax Museum, situated inside the breathtakingly beautiful Sheesh Mahal, has announced that her figure will be unveiled on March 8, 2026 – International Women’s Day.

The latest installation is being hailed as both a salute to India’s pathbreaking victory in the World Cup and as a tribute to the empowerment of women in sports.
