GREENVILLE, Fla. (WCTV) - Greenville’s municipal election saw three out of five Town Council seats up for grabs.
Town Council seat 1 is now held by Chiqulia Pleas.
Ryan Kornegay now holds seat 2.
Seat 5 is held by Kathleen Hamilton.
The Town Council must now select a mayor from its members. The mayor is the ceremonial head of the Town, according to Greenville’s website, and leads council meetings. However, the mayor does not hold additional administrative power.
The current mayor is Ryan Kornegay, and the Vice Mayor is Robin Housh.
