Roseville — Most of the candidates seeking the Republican Party's nomination to be Michigan's next governor said Tuesday they'll work to get the endorsement of GOP President Donald Trump, with one of the contenders stating that he's even willing to "take a bullet" for Trump.
The comments came during the second debate organized by the Michigan GOP of the primary race, nine months before the August primary election. The two-hour event took place at Athena Banquet Center in Roseville with a crowd of about 200 people in attendance.
