Two candidates were on the ballot Tuesday for one 10-year judgeship in the Northampton County Court of Common Pleas .
The position became open with the pending retirement of Judge Anthony Beltrami.
Running to succeed him were Republican James Fuller and Democrat Jeremy Clark.
According to unofficial results posted by the county with all precincts reporting, Clark took the election with 51,814 votes to 34,924 votes for Fuller — for a percentage split of about 60-40 between the vote tally for the two.
Fuller, 41, of Northampton, has been an assistant district attorney in Monroe County for the last two years and before that, an assistant county public defender for nearly seven.
