FARGO — Fargo North rallied to win the fifth set 16-14 and beat Fargo South on Tuesday in Eastern Dakota Conference volleyball.

The set scores were 11-25, 25-21, 25-23, 24-26 and 16-14.

The Spartans received 13 kills from Audrey Rydell and 11 from Anna Halverson in the win. Halverson and Lucy Rydell each had four aces. Rydell led North with 21 digs while Gretchen Snowden added 19 to go along with three aces. Halverson also had a team-high two blocks.

For the Bruins, Talyn Hoffert piled up 22 kills while Abby Baukol had 21 kills to go along with 17 digs. They each tallied four aces. Ruby Hawley led South with seven aces and added 14 digs. Nora Balvitsch had 44 assists.
