With photo stations, bouquet making and poetry, Cal State San Bernardino kicked off Native American Heritage Month on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

The opening ceremony began a series of campus events to highlight the history and contributions of Native and Indigenous people.

Highlights of the planned events include:

Monday, Nov. 10 — A screening of the documentary “Saging the World,” 5 p.m., Santos Manuel Student Union South Theater

Wednesday, Nov. 12 — A screeing of the documentary “Sugarcane,” noon, Santos Manuel Student Union South Theater

Monday, Nov. 17 — The book “Never Whistle at Night,” will be given away between noon and 1 p.m., John M. Pfau Library

Friday, Nov. 21 — Rez Dogs: Community Dialogue, to discuss the TV series “Reservation Dogs,” 4 p.m., First Peoples Center (Santos Man
