LAKEVILLE, Ind. (WNDU) - Firefighters were dispatched to Laville Elementary School in Lakeville less than three hours ago.

When we arrived at Laville the fire trucks remained on scene.

Firefighters said they were dispatched because of smoke in the building.

Dispatchers confirmed that.

Those first responders were walking through the halls of the school while we were there as part of their inspection.

No word on what firefighters discovered during the inspection but multiple crews were leaving the scene when our team was still there.
