THE COLONY--- In a rematch of the 2024 regional finals, the defending Class 5A Division II volleyball champions Wakeland were set for battle against a Lovejoy team with no shortage of hardware on their own shelves.

The match could also be considered a rematch of the regular-season opener for both teams that saw Lovejoy start the year with a four-set win.
