FORT WORTH, Texas — The Fort Worth Independent School District Board of Trustees met Tuesday night to discuss the Texas Education Agency’s proposed state takeover of the district and to complete the annual evaluation of Superintendent Karen Molinar, but took no action.
In a closed session, the Board conducted Molinar’s evaluation, which by contract was to be completed no later than Oct. 31. Molinar graciously agreed to extend that timeline to accommodate the rescheduling of tonight’s special meeting.
In a statement following the session, the Board said it was “pleased to document Dr. Molinar’s exemplary leadership and dedicated service to the District.” The Board took no action regarding her salary or the term of her contract.
