New Delhi: In a shocking incident, Kabaddi player Gurvinder Singh was shot dead in the Samrala block of Ludhiana district. This is the second murder of a Kabaddi player in the area within a week, sparking fear and concern over rising gang violence in Punjab.

Soon after the incident, a social media post allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for the killing. The message, shared under the name of Anmol Bishnoi, stated that the murder was murder was done by Karan Madhapur and Tej Chak. The post was also signed off by gang members Harry Boxer and Aarzoo Bishnoi, which is horrfying for the public.
