Early returns at 8 p.m. Nov. 4 show Glendale voters in favor of half of a two-question, $65-million bond proposal.

Bond question 1 deals with flood control and water retention and is for $30 million. Initial results show 11,384 votes (52.7%) in favor of this question and 10,229 votes (47.3%) against it.

Bond question 2 focuses on upgrading operations facilities that support city infrastructure maintenance and would be for $35 million. As of election night, it is failing with 10,490 (50.65%) no votes and 10,220 (49.35%) yes votes.

"Early results show that it is too close to call," Assistant City Manager Vicki Rios stated in a text. "But they reflect that Glendale voters understand the importance and impact of these initiatives."
