MONROE COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) — Voters in the Switzerland of Ohio School District elected two members to the Board of Education in Tuesday’s election. According to final unofficial results from the Monroe County Board of Elections, the winners were: • Stephen Jorris – 1,286 votes (36.40%) • Ken Phillips – 1,239 votes (35.07%)

Other candidates included Anthony McDaniel with 1,008 votes (28.53%) and Kenneth Darby, who did not receive any votes.

With the election results now finalized, the returning and new board members will oversee policy decisions, budgeting, and academic initiatives for the Switzerland of Ohio Local School District — the largest geographical school district in the state.
