Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan and Juhi Chawla co-owned Kolkata Knight Riders created history in the IPL 2024 player auction with their successful bid for Australian pacer Mitchell Starc. KKR left everyone stunned as they bought Starc for then record price Rs 24.75 crore topping Sunrisers Hyderabad, who had shelled out Rs 20.5 crore for Australian captain Pat Cummins.
