Ramapo, the No. 1 seed in the North Jersey, Section 1, Group 3 tournament, blanked Garfield 4-0 in a first-round game in Franklin Lakes.
Ramapo scored three goals in the first half to pull away. Nick Didato, Jordan Hunt, Jacob Preziosi, and Julian Cuttita scored for the Raiders. Cuttita and Hunt also had assists.
Garfield goalies Anatolii Fedunka and Ryan Fernandez combined for 12 saves. Julian Lora and Dylan Kleinschmidt made a total of two saves for Ramapo.
Garfield finishes with a 5-12-1 record.
Ramapo has won 13 consecutive games and allowed only two goals in that span. The Raiders take a 16-1 record into a quarterfinal matchup with Fort Lee.
Ramapo ended Fort Lee’s season last year with a 5-0 win in the first round.
