The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will soon introduce the Social Emotional and Ecological Knowledge (SEEK) programme in its civic-run schools in partnership with a social enterprise. The move aims to help students build emotional intelligence, life skills, and awareness about social and environmental issues, as reported by news agency PTI.
As part of the collaboration, Rangeet, a social enterprise focused on life skills and wellbeing, will gradually implement the SEEK curriculum across BMC’s network of more than 1,100 schools, which together cater to over 3 lakh students in Mumbai, according to a joint statement issued on Tuesday.
