A wind advisory is in effect in the Philadelphia area on Wednesday evening with potential gusts of 50 mph in and around the city and up to 55 mph at the Jersey Shore.
Wednesday is off to a chilly start in the Philadelphia area, with temperatures in the mid-30s or near 40 by daybreak.
A little patchy frost may be on the ground in colder pockets of South Jersey and Delaware, but temperatures will warm quickly once the sun comes up and the south winds begin to usher in warmer air ahead of a cold front.
