The Roi Roi Binale wave is taking Assamese cinema to new heights previously unseen. The Zubeen Garg -starrer, which is also his final appearance on screen has whipped fans into a frenzy and the outpouring of grief and love has led to packed theatres across the state of Assam. The movie which was released on October 31 2025, in accordance with his last wishes saw massive pre-bookings across 85 theatres with shows screening as early as 4:30 AM in the morning and fans eagerly lining up to bid adieu to one of Assam’s golden singing birds. Shows through the first week of release were completely booked out or on the verge of being so.

The movie received a pan-India release with unlikely locations for an Assamese feature such as Bhopal , Goa, Lucknow, Jaipur and several other Indian cities
