COLUMBUS, Ohio — College football, yet again, gave people a reason to debate on Election Day .

The first College Football Playoff rankings of the 2025 season were unveiled Tuesday. Ohio State , with its 8-0 record, checked in at No. 1.

Indiana, Texas A&M, Alabama and Georgia rounded out the top five, respectively.
