BATTLE GROUND — Brynnlee Williams is not a big fan of penalty-kick shootouts.

“As a goalkeeper, I hate PKs, obviously,” the senior said. “It’s really stressful.”

Junior Avery Petersen found it less nerve-racking.

“I was pretty confident because we have Brynnlee as our goalkeeper,” Petersen said. “So I knew she was going to save at least one.”

Williams did stop one, and Camas had a misfire, which allowed Petersen to knock in the clincher as Skyview won the PK shootout 4-2 after 0-0 draw Tuesday in the 4A bi-district semifinal at District Stadium.

Skyview, which fell to Camas on Oct. 21 to give the Papermakers the top seed to bi-districts, now advances to the bi-district championship game on Thursday, where the Storm will face Tahoma at the Lincoln Bowl in Tacoma.
