NEW DELHI: Lok Sabha leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of “stealing” the mandate in the Haryana Assembly elections, claiming that a deliberate plan was executed to convert Congress’s victory into a BJP win. Speaking at a press conference, Rahul Gandhi said the Congress had received “numerous complaints” from its candidates about irregularities during the vote count, suggesting the tampering occurred at the state and national levels.
