Ahmedabad reports over 250 dengue cases in October November 05, 2025
Ahmedabad: The city reported over 250 cases of dengue in October, according to statistics shared by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC).
As per the AMC health department, 253 cases of dengue, 84 cases of simple malaria, and 28 cases of severe malaria were recorded in the city between October 1 and 31. In addition, 241 cases of diarrhoea, 223 cases of typhoid, and 199 cases of jaundice were reported during the same period.
The civic body also collected 40,969 water samples for chlorine testing, of which five showed no trace of chlorine. Another 5,387 samples were tested for bacteriological contamination, and 10 were found unfit for use.
