A disturbing scene unfolded on Tuesday when Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum was groped and nearly kissed by a man during a public event in the capital’s historic downtown, an incident that has since gone viral and raised serious concerns about her security detail.

The video, now circulating widely on social media, shows the country’s first female President maintaining her composure as the man, appearing intoxicated, approached her from behind, grabbed her, and tried to kiss her while she greeted citizens on the street.

For several seconds, no security personnel intervened, allowing the man to get uncomfortably close before officials finally stepped in to pull him away.
