Ahead of the release of The Girlfriend, headlined by Rashmika Mandanna, the team interacted with the media today. The film’s presenter, Allu Aravind, graced the event, and he made a couple of bold statements, which are now going viral on social media.

“The media will generally give 1.5 to 3.5 stars for our films, but trust me, critics will find it difficult to give low ratings for The Girlfriend. I am confident that Rashmika Mandanna will bag a National Award for her performance, and I hope I will attend the event where she collects the award,” said Allu Aravind.

Directed by Rahul Ravindran, the intense romantic drama features Dheekshith Shetty as the male lead. Rao Ramesh and Anu Emmanuel play key roles. The movie is produced by Vidya Koppineedi and Dheeraj Mogilineni under the banners
