Mamallapuram: In a move that solidifies its stance for the upcoming electoral battle, the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) passed a pivotal resolution in its special general body meeting today, officially declaring its founder-leader, actor Vijay, as the party’s Chief Ministerial candidate. The meeting, held in Mamallapuram, also granted Vijay “full power” to unilaterally decide on all political alliances.

The resolutions unequivocally state that the TVK will contest the elections under Vijay’s leadership, effectively centralizing all strategic authority with the party chief.
