Srinagar, Nov 5 (UNI) Kashmir’s popular hill resorts — Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Sonamarg and several high reaches experienced fresh snowfall over the past 24 hours, even as the plains witnessed intermittent rainfall.
The fresh spell of snow has led to the closure of key highways, including the Srinagar–Leh highway, which has been shut for vehicular movement.
Officials said the Gurez–Bandipora road has also been closed due to snowfall, adding that travelers have been advised not to undertake journeys without confirming the latest road status from the respective district control rooms.
