Sixth-seeded Brick Township defeated 11th-seeded Burlington Township 2-1 in the first round of the NJSIAA Central Jersey, Group 3 playoffs in Brick behind a balanced scoring attack.

Brick Township’s goals were scored by Carl Laffredo and Diego Aldana, while Gianno Godenzi added an assist. Devin Baldwin recorded six saves for Brick Township.

Brick Township (12-6-1) will visit third-seeded Northern Burlington in the quarterfinals on Friday.

Burlington Township fell to 8-9-1 on the season.
