Nate Stryker scored the lone goal in the first half, powering fifth-seeded Brick Memorial to a 1-0 victory over 12th-seeded Freehold Borough in the first round of the NJSIAA Central Jersey, Group 3 playoffs in Brick.
Elin Torres was credited with an assist, while Ryan Wheeler recorded 13 saves in the shutout effort.
Brick Memorial will host 13th-seeded Red Bank Regional on Friday at noon in the quarterfinals.
Freehold Borough fell to 10-12 on the season.
