A couple have been branded heroes after a video showed the moment they saved a girl from a horror fall on a roller coaster . The girl who narrowly avoided the accident was said to let out a "blood-curdling scream". ‌

Chris and Cassie Evins decided to ride the Mamba roller coaster at the Worlds of Fun amusement park in Kansas City on October 11 before the incident. They told KCTV5 : "We get on the roller coaster and the very first hill, the girl sitting behind my wife just lets out this blood-curdling scream like I’ve never heard before." ‌
