Jammu, Nov 5: The Finance Department of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a circular directing Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) and Pension Sanctioning Authorities (PSAs) to ensure strict compliance with procedural norms while submitting pension cases to the Principal Accountant General (PAG) office.
The department observed frequent errors such as uploading forms in incorrect fields, mismatched names of pensioners, poor quality of scanned documents, and missing specimen signatures of family pensioners, leading to delays in processing.
The circular emphasized accurate documentation, clear scanning, and verification of details to ensure timely settlement and issuance of pension payment orders.
