In connection with the case at Sainik School, Niglok, wherein a Class VII student was found dead, allegedly due to ragging by senior students, and following the subsequent FIR filed by the deceased boy’s father, a total of eight students have been apprehended by the Arunachal police and produced before the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) in Pasighat, on 4th November.
The earlier case registered under Section 194 of BNS has been upgraded to Ruksin PS Case No. 20/25 u/s 108/106(1)3(5) BNS, following the additional FIR filed by the deceased student’s parent on 3rd November.
The eight apprehended CCLs (Children in Conflict with Law) were produced before the JJB, and the Principal Magistrate of the Board sent them to the custody of the Vice Principal of Sainik School, Niglok, for a period of one
