Spandau Ballet bassist, Martin Kemp, has opened up about his terrifying health battle in the 1990s when he was diagnosed with two brain tumours. The 64-year-old musician, who had moved to Los Angeles with his wife Shirlie to pursue a Hollywood career, was forced to abandon his acting ambitions temporarily and return to the UK.
Martin's first acting role in 'The Krays', alongside his brother Gary, received critical acclaim, leading him to secure roles in films such as Waxwork II: Lost in Time and Embrace of the Vampire' However, in 1995, Martin's life took a dramatic turn when doctors discovered two benign tumours in his brain.
