News anchor Chris Cuomo covered his brother’s crushing mayoral election loss live on air — humiliatingly forced to admit that his bro is not what voters “want.”

The former star CNN host had largely avoided covering the failed campaign by his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo — but was behind the desk at NewsNation when the race was called for socialist Zohran Mamdani .

“Of course I wanted my brother to win,” the anchor said.

“I believe in my brother. I think he’s a tremendous operator within government. But he’s not what Democrats want right now in their party,” he told viewers.
