SANTA CLARA – No savior is rushing onto the 49ers’ practice field this week in the wake of Tuesday’s NFL trade deadline.

Unless it’s Bryce Huff returning from his hamstring strain. Or fellow defensive lineman Keion White, who arrived a week ahead of the trade deadline.

The 49ers played possum Tuesday. They did not buy into the New York Jets’ Tuesday fire sale or pony up for any other household names to fill holes in this injury-ravaged yet playoff-bound roster.

Here are 10 thoughts about the deadline:
