The Grace Jamaican Jerk Festival will return to Miramar Regional Park on Sunday, Nov. 9, bringing a full day of Caribbean food, music and cultural events. This year, the festival will also feature an activation to accept food and clothing donations for areas of Jamaica devastated by Hurricane Melissa.
Now in its 23rd year, the festival is presented by Publix and VP Records and is billed as one of the largest Caribbean food festivals in the United States. The event will run from 1 to 10 p.m. at 16801 Miramar Parkway.
Headlining the main stage are The Wailers, Romain Virgo, Mr. Vegas, and Destra Garcia. The Wailers, known for performing the music of Bob Marley and for their embodiment of the 1970s reggae movement, will perform a set of classic songs. Virgo, who gained recognition as the y
