A call for more organ donors has been made by the Coatbridge family of a florist whose job may have caused her fatal lung condition.

Kay Robertson sadly passed away aged just 57 while she was waiting for a life-saving double lung transplant after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis - a condition that causes lung tissue damage.

Her daughter Rosalynd Robertson, who works for the NHS, said her mum was a florist for almost 20 years and doctors believed her condition may have been triggered by a sensitivity to the pollen she breathed in at work.
