An Emmerdale star has appeared to confirm they have left the soap after a cryptic comment. ‌

Joe Absolom made his debut earlier this year as bad guy Ray Waters - and it didn’t take the character long to cause some drama in the famous village. As viewers will know, he has trapped youngsters April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) in the dangerous world of crime, child prostitution and drugs. ‌

At first, it was just Dylan working for dangerous dealer Ray. However, soon enough, April was lured into the dodgy industry and took on jobs for Ray after he decided she could be useful. ‌
