A 40-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly hitting a pedestrian while driving under the influence on Monday evening.

According to police, officers got a call about an impaired driver on Cameron Street at around 7 p.m. But while the officers were en route to the caller’s location, a second call came in reporting that a pedestrian had been struck by a vehicle near Eighth Avenue and Athol Street.
