Gujarat to mark 150 years of Vande Mataram with public singing at Schools, Colleges from Nov 7 November 05, 2025

Gandhinagar: Gujarat will join the nationwide celebrations marking the 150th anniversary of the composition of India’s national song “Vande Mataram” on 7th November, spokesperson Minister Jitubhai Vaghani said.

A state-level program will be held at the Gujarat Legislative Assembly premises in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. During the program, the original version of “Vande Mataram” will be sung, and participants will take the Swadeshi oath.
