Former Australia all-rounder Shane Watson has backed Shubman Gill to find his rhythm across formats, calling the India captain “ridiculously talented" and capable of quickly adapting his game to different conditions.
Gill, who’s leading India in Tests and ODIs, has endured a quiet run in the ongoing white-ball series against Australia with scores of 10, 9 and 24 in the ODIs and 37, 5, and 15* in the T20Is so far.
But Watson isn’t worried.
“It does take time (to make adjustments), and it’s through trial and error that you really realise exactly what you need to do," Watson said ahead of the fourth T20I on Thursday.
