Cowboys given 'A' grade for unexpected trade deadline move

No one saw this coming.

But a few months after trading away a defensive superstar in Micah Parsons, the Dallas Cowboys got one back.

Quinnen Williams is the newest member of the Cowboys after a shock deadline trade with the New York Jets .

And the trade has been well received by analysts for the Dallas side of it.

The Sporting News' senior NFL writer, Vinnie Iyer, has given it an 'A' grade.

"The Cowboys solved two problems with their defensive line by getting stronger vs. the run and more versatile with their pass rush while giving up on disappointing Mazi Smith," Iyer writes. "The cost in draft picks wasn't bad to lock up a linchpin up front."
