New Delhi: Just a day before the first phase of polling in Bihar, Jan Suraaj’s Munger Assembly candidate Sanjay Singh quit the party and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Singh formally entered the BJP on Wednesday in the presence of the party’s Munger candidate Kumar Pandey. His sudden switch ends what was expected to be a three-way contest in Munger. It leaves the NDA and the RJD-Congress-led Grand Alliance in a direct face off.
