DES MOINES, Iowa — The Iowa Board of Regents has named David Cook, Ph.D., as the second finalist for the presidency of Iowa State University.
Cook, currently serving as President at North Dakota State University, will visit the Iowa State campus on November 6. He will engage with faculty, staff, students, and community members during his visit.
A public forum with Cook is scheduled for November 6 from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Durham Great Hall of the Memorial Union. The forum will be streamed live on the Board's website .
Cook is one of two finalists in the final interview round.
The Board of Regents will decide the new president in a closed session on November 11.
