Srinagar, Nov 05: Hotelier Mushtaq Chaya, owner of Radisson Hotel Srinagar, on Wednesday strongly criticised the organisers of the Indian Heaven Premier League after the abrupt cancellation of the tournament and reports that its organisers absconded, leaving behind unpaid bills and allegations of fraud.
Speaking to the media, Chaya said that we were informed that a reputed company was coming to provide a platform for our youth to display their cricketing talent.
Many players from outside Jammu Kashmir had arrived, and expectations were high. But it turned out to be a major disappointment. They have tarnished their own reputation. They took money from us, from vendors, from players, and from hoteliers. Our funds, too, are stuck with them.
