Students in the Los Gatos-Saratoga Union High School District consistently outperformed their peers at the state and county levels in this year’s round of state testing, according to a press release from the school district.

Every spring, students in grade 11 take the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress and the California Science Test. This year the high school district ranked No. 1 in the state for English or language arts and No. 3 for math.
Almost 84% of test-takers in the district exceeded state standards in English and language arts, compared to 48.8% statewide and 59.8% in Santa Clara County. About 68% of juniors at Los Gatos and Saratoga high schools also exceeded expectations in math, as compared to 53% in the county and 37% in the state. A
