PARCHMENT, MI — Parchment voters elected three incumbents and one newcomer to four-year terms on the City Commission.
Robert Britigan, Michael Conner and Tammy Cooper will return to the commission, while newcomer Kristen Capelli earned a seat with 180 votes.
The commission selects one of the winners to serve as mayor during its first meeting, while the other three fill open seats.
Britigan, 63, most recently served as mayor. He has 20 years of experience on the Parchment City Commission, and has served the last eight years as mayor.
