CHICAGO - A video circulating on social media appears to show federal immigration agents detaining a woman outside a Chicago daycare Wednesday morning.

What we know:

The incident happened around 7 a.m. outside Rayito de Sol Spanish Immersion Early Learning Center, located at 2550 W. Addison St. in the city’s North Center neighborhood.

Video posted on X shows agents forcibly removing the woman from the daycare and pressing her against a vehicle. Reports suggest the woman is a teacher at the center.

What we don't know:

It remains unclear what led up to and followed the incident. FOX 32 Chicago has reached out to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement for comment but has not yet received a response.

In a statement, the Chicago Police Department said, "This is not a CPD incident."
